Alice In Chains

        BAND INFO

Alice in Chains cites Black Sabbath, Led Zeppelin and Kiss as influences.

You might have noticed on the "Sap" E.P. that the song "Right Turn" was performed by Alice Mudgarden. Well, who is Alice Mudgarden? Look at the name. Alice=Alice in Chains, Mud=Mudhoney, and Garden=Soundgarden.

During the recording of "Unplugged", Jerry was sick. He got sick after he ate a hot dog on the street. He was puking his guts out until it was time for the show. He had to leave the stage a couple of times to relieve himself.

Remember the clay dolls in the I Stay Away video? If you're ever around Cleveland, OH, you can visit them at the Rock n' Roll Hall of Fame.

While the press release stated "Amicable Departure", it was rumoured that he was kicked out due to illegal sales of laminates. He was convicted in Houston for misdemeanor theft and possession of marijuana, and served 90 days. He went on to form Sun Red Sun with singer Ray Gillen (Badlands), who was later killed in a car accident.
