Welcome, Mortals, to my Heavy Metal Website. This is just a small tribute to the kind of music I like, and to the bands I think kick ass. It is in no way affiliated to the bands themselves, or to anyone but me. Dig it? I'm trying to do some research on each of the bands included in this site, and I have taken some elements from other websites. Here's a message to those who might complain I stole their images: I didn't steal them for me, I took them because I thought they were cool and would, in a way, help the bands we're talking about. If you still think you're being ripped off, just mail me and I will give you credit. Of course, if you're that kind of whiner, you probably listen to Hanson and Backstreet Boys.
Anyway, enough with that. As I was saying, I'm trying really hard, looking up my old magazine collection, watching the home videos, trying to keep up with the bands. There are bands from the 80's, which I happen to like, and some newer bands which I also happen to like. I would appreciate it if you would abstain yourself from complaining about what I like or don't like. If you like the band, click it, if you don't, don't. OK? And, of course, any info you might want to contribute will be welcome.
On my band pages, you will see some notes from yours truly, a discography, in some cases lyrics, images, blah, blah, blah, and some links to other sites concerning that band. If you don't find the band you're looking for, I suggest clicking on the UBL link. It is an extensive collection of bands of all kinds of music.
Oh, you might have noticed, I have tried to summarize the history of our favorite music. I have classified it in 3 sections. It is only my idea of heavy metal history. I am not a historian, and I'm a lazy researcher, so if you see something you shouldn't, or don't see something you should, I'd appreciate it if you would let me know.
Another thing I've put up is what I like to call my crusade against MTV. You know, the sucky channel that used to show videos. Check it out, and join it! My idea is to trade our anti-MTV banners for Headbangers Ball.
Well, that's about it for now, I'll try to update this thing whenever I have the time.
